Workshops

This session will educate and engage participants in increasing awareness around the narratives/storylines given to them throughout their lifespan. Participants will learn how those narratives potentially influenced them and continue to play a role in the way they think, feel, and behave. Participants will engage in unpacking the recent spotlight on Latinx mental health, wellness, and visibility. This will include a discussion on classic Latinx archetypes, tropes, and stereotypes. Special attention will be paid to Latinx culture, anti-immigrant sentiment, imposter syndrome, and current mental health and wellness concerns impacting the Latinx community. CPEUs can be provided for those who attend and need continuing education hours.
